Adorned with old-world windmills and a castle, the rural landscape of Consuegra is an absolute delight to charter. Now named after Don Quixote’s characters, the windmills are a welcoming lot. You can go up to them and say a surreal ‘hello’ or just sit there and enjoy the view.
